Our Story
Zel Food

Founded in 1954, our family business has grown over three generations into a trusted name in the Turkish food industry. Operating under the name CNG Cengiz Gıda Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Şti. since 2010, we began in-house production in 2015 at our modern meat processing and cold storage facility in Kemalpaşa, İzmir. By 2016, we became the first company in Türkiye to produce sterilized, ready-to-consume bone broth and traditional soups, pioneering this segment with quality and innovation at its core.

With a strong commitment to R&D and product development, we have created innovative functional foods and beverages such as bone broth-based fruit drinks and collagen-infused coffees—both awarded first place for innovation at Anuga (Germany) and Sial (UAE) in 2021. Our dedication to quality, food safety, and sustainability is certified by ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, Vegan, Halal, and Zero Waste certifications. In 2021, the company evolved into CNG Cengiz Tedarik Dış Ticaret A.Ş., expanding its market presence through national retail chains, catering factories, restaurants, hotels, and public tenders.

Global Reach & Responsibility

As one of Türkiye’s largest institutional food suppliers, we take pride in our strong sense of social responsibility. We have collaborated with organizations such as the Turkish Red Crescent, IFRC, Kuwait Relief, and the World Food Programme (WFP), producing and delivering millions of ready-to-eat meals for humanitarian aid and emergency relief operations—including shipments to Ukraine. Today, we also serve as a distributor for leading Turkish FMCG producers, supplying food and cleaning products to canteens in prisons, courthouses, and staff housing facilities. Since 2023, we have expanded into international markets, exporting products from top Turkish FMCG brands and exploring new global trade opportunities.
